Spend the day making your own beautiful Beau Bear, using Jo Carter’s fantastic kit and my expert help. The kit contains the instructions, fabric, plastic eyes and embroidery thread to make your very own Beau Bear (a flat-pack teddy bear)! I will guide you through the cutting out and making to create your first bear. The beauty of the kit is that you can reuse the pattern and make more bears for years to come once you realise how easy it is.
I met Jo Carter when guest presenting on Sewing Quarter and made quite a few of her kits up on air. I can honestly say that EVERY kit was faultless and super easy to follow. I’m very much looking forward to a day of bear sewing!

Duration of workshop: 6 hours. 9:30am – 3:30pm.
Number of places: 8 max.
Cost: £75. This includes your kit and toy stuffing. (The kit is £29.99 to buy). Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. If you choose to pay a deposit, the rest will be payable before the workshops date.
Where: The workshop will be held in Upper Killay Community Council Recreational Hall, Killay.
What to bring: Your sewing essentials including sewing machine, pins, scissors, unpicker etc. If you need to borrow anything, just let me know. Please bring lunch and a mug for a cuppa.
