Sewing Machine Needles
Did you know that cheap unbranded sewing machine needles can ruin your sewing machine? They are sometimes the wrong length so damage the inside of your machine which results in a costly service. I swear by Schmetz and recommend them in my Dressmaking book, Dressmaking. The Easy Guide. I have four types of packs available to buy: –
Size 70/10
* For lighter weight fabrics and fine fabrics like satin.
* With a slightly rounded point, for trouble-free sewing of numerous types of materials.
* 5 Needles per card.
Size 80/12
* For medium weight fabrics such as cottons.
* With a slightly rounded point, for trouble-free sewing of numerous types of materials.
* 5 Needles per card.
Size 100/16
* For heavier weight fabrics such as denim.
* With a slightly rounded point, for trouble-free sewing of numerous types of materials.
* 5 Needles per card.
